Come back to your breath.
When everything feels fast, overwhelming or out of control — your breath can bring you back.
Most of us live slightly disconnected from our bodies. We push through stress. We ignore tension. We try to think our way out of things we actually need to feel. And often, we don’t even realise how much our breathing has changed.
Your breath becomes shallow. Fast. Tight. And your body stays in a constant state of alert.
Breathwork is not about doing more. It’s about returning to something that has always been there.
A simple, powerful tool to help you:
slow down & release tension
sleep & recover better
regulate your system
improve your performance
feel safe in your body again
About
A simple way back to yourself
Hi, I’m Melanie. I’m a certified breathwork coach based in Zurich, born and raised in Switzerland.
For years, I struggled to feel in control of my own body, battling anxiety and panic attacks and like many people, I tried to manage it by pushing through.
Breathwork was the first tool that truly helped me shift how I felt. It wasn’t an instant fix, but a steady, consistent path back to myself. It gave me the tools to finally come back, calm down, and feel truly grounded and safe in my body once again.
But breathwork didn’t just help me with anxiety, it also improved my performance in sports, my recovery and my overall energy levels. Through my background as a professional dancer and group fitness coach, I’ve always worked closely with the body. Breathwork allowed me to connect everything: music, movement, awareness and nervous system regulation.
Today, I share this work in a way that is simple, grounded and practical. My approach is not about extreme experiences or pushing limits. It’s about learning how to work with your body — step by step.
The Practice: Breathwork
What it is & why we need it now
Breathwork is the conscious direction of your breathing to gently influence your physical, mental, and emotional state. It acts as a form of active meditation, calming the mind while allowing you to dive deep into a connection with your body. It is not about forcing a result, but rather about creating space—for relaxation, for clarity, and for coming back to your true self.
Rooted in ancient Eastern wisdom, breathwork is used today as a powerful tool for nervous system regulation. In our fast-paced world, many have forgotten how to breathe freely. Stress causes our breath to become shallow, keeping the body in a state of constant alert. Learning to breathe again means giving your system a sense of safety, releasing tension, and reclaiming your vitality.
My sessions
My sessions are not about pushing your limits. They are about learning how to listen, regulate and reconnect. Each format offers a different way to work with your breath — whether you prefer a quiet 1:1 space, a small group, or a setting for your team. All sessions are held in a calm, supportive environment and can be guided in German or English.
1:1 Private Breathwork Session
A quiet space to meet yourself. We begin with a gentle intake and move through a guided practice tailored to your system's needs. Everything happens step-by-step, allowing you to settle and regulate with ease.
Small Group Session
A supportive setting for shared practice. We take time to arrive and land together before moving into a gentle rhythm of breath. No previous experience is needed—just a willingness to be here and breathe with others.
Corporate Breathwork Session
Bring calm to the workspace. My evidence-based sessions are designed for teams to reduce stress, enhance mental clarity, and foster a more connected, resilient workplace culture through conscious breathing.
You don’t have to know how to do this. We go step by step.
